You fall with me

naturemusicpoliticsmemorylovemortality

You fall with me

The sleep of angels

A kiss of forgetting

It is a sword to splice through

The finest silk

Sharp as any blade should ever be

Dividing me completely

With an ecstasy divinely created

To keep us worlds apart

There is no comfort

In waking when dust

Clouds choke recollection

Obscuring what might be seen

On the other side

Where the colours are reflections

Of the moment

Take my hand

Do not let go

Apprehension is an ally

Pull me through this gauzy veil

Translucent teardrops

Fall as rain

Warmed in good grace

A well of hope

From which to spring

Heavenly refreshed

Bathe me in its succor

Where my earthly wounds

Will heal

Bring to me the comfort

Of your bounty

Draw me closer still

Reunited in a journey

To completion

Bound together in harmony

Where divine choirs sing

Of new beginnings

When the love of ages past

Will free us all.
