Are you there
naturecitymusictimelove
Are you there
Disguised in the ripple
Of an Oak tree
In the flutter of a hummingbird
Barely moving in the air
Invisible wings
Beak filled with nectar
The startled
Bright eyed look
Of a fox
Caught in the porch light
A candid sight
Half in half out
Of a dustbin
An opportunist thief
Are you there
In the veins of a leaf
Rich in chlorophyll
A vase on a window sill
The grace
Of a stallion
Floating on air
At full gallop
Impressing a mare
An old married couple
Arm in arm
She fell for his charm
It is still there
When lovers collide
There is union
If I use my eyes
For more than I see
Will love break free
