Did you visit

lossnaturemusictimeloveidentity

Did you visit

One dark night

With the wind twisting

Its cold fingers

Through the cracks

In my resolve

An icy grip

Restricting breathing

Constricting airways

Heavy is the heart

Fighting insurgence

Surrendered in moonlight

Passing in silence

Is this the aftermath

Every moment

Choreographed in sequence

Post extinction

How would I know

To reach out

Catching a glimpse

Of existence

Through the wrong end

Of a microscope

The universe getting smaller

As the sense of it

Begins to fall away

Did you visit

Is this a

Personal confrontation

A divine comedy

With fewer laughs

Than the original

Did you visit

When I was sleeping

Is this a moment

Everlasting

A partition

Between one thing

And another

A rendition

Of something other

Than after life

Is it transition

A pause before continuance

How will I know

When I am brought low

Begging on my knees

That you did visit

And it was the death of me.
