Disconnect me
naturemusicmemorytimemortality
Disconnect me
Pull the plug
Turn me off
White noise
Is colour blind
A lot of men are
Why does it matter
When the dishwasher
Is as irritating
As a broken record
Splish splash
I’m taking a bath
Nothing would be better
Than quiet time
But it only exists in
Childhood
Or coffins.
Smell the roses
Lavender is not a narcotic
Benzodiazepine is a hypnotic
Fall asleep
Or dance like a chicken
Burning candles
Even at both ends
Never works
As a relaxant
When did sitting down
Become so effortful
Walk me off
Wear me down
Tire me out
I am a loud voice
On the inside
Of an open window
To the world
Nothing good
Will come of
A deep sleep
With a long knife
There are no
Good knights
They only exist
In fairytales.
