Eyes open in the blind
griefnaturemusictimelove
Eyes open in the blind
Bowed head
Weighted in a sorrow
Of attachment
Restless breathing
Anxiously exhaled
As children cry
Through pressured change
Old thoughts float
In the background
Wedding bands kissed
Remembrance hands clasped
In fond regard
As modern lovers
Wait for their chance
To squeeze into something
Simple
A single cowgirl has
Placed a wide-brimmed
Hat on a seat
By her side
How dignified
Is she
There is a story here
Another one there
As the baby cries
Through the rise
We ride the sky
A Pegasus
In fly by.
