Foundering in the deep

naturecitypoliticstimeidentity

Foundering in the deep

Of a bleak outlook,

Snow is unnecessarily

Attractive

From a window

In the glow of lamplight

Individual flakes fall

Whilst some just hang

In a suspension

Of disbelief at the

Ease of their demise

Until they form a bond,

Self unification

Lays the groundwork

For success

Deeply felt

Evenly distributed

Until the wind blows

Heaven only knows

How cold it is going to be

Better to stay inside

Or relocate to warmer climes

If it will help

Although weather watchers

Understand

Without a shift

In barometric pressure

A view can change

But the outlook

Will always be the same
