Hot rain

lossnature

Hot rain

Washing me away

Melting

Bleeding into the earth

Every part

Slipping into the deluge

Draining down

Lifeless fluid

Uncontainable

Leaking out of every pore

Until nothing remains

A dried husk

Falling as ash

Windblown

Scatter the residue

Into the storm

It is a maelstrom

A kaleidoscope held up

Against the eye

Of a hurricane

Tossed

In majestic disarray

Until all is gone

But an idea

Which might be strong enough

To survive

The fall

However graceless

It may be
