It is my birthday.
It is my birthday.
What of Hallelujah days,
When the heart skips
With the promise of glory
And the sky opens
To reveal more of itself.
A vast wide entrance,
A yawning expanse that
Leads into forever
With a nonchalance
That barely ruffles
A momentary thought,
As it broadens
And is welcomed
Into the grand eternal.
Carried so easily
By a crown of angels,
A cordon for the earth.
A linking of arms,
Feathering of wings.
Joining, one with the other
As passing souls
Clump together.
Molecules of light
Sharing their love
In the ozone.
Memories and learning
Pass between them
An accumulation of emotion
That can create,
A heaven’s gate.
A spiritual collective
Humanistic organism,
As may be
The meaning of our days.
When all is said,
This may be a good time
To rise up,
From the depths of sleep,
Find the life to live a little
Sheltered by a big sky,
And look for answers
To your questions,
By and by.
