Just a Scooby snack.

loveidentitymortality

Just a Scooby snack.

I came to you

Out of the blue.

Not as a beggar would

But with little to offer,

Other than myself.

You replenished me.

Not with fast food

Or sugar treats

And fatty meats,

But with love.

You made a hard choice

Look easy,

As you filled my soul,

Not with trans fats

Sausage rolls,

Smelly cheese

Or cream teas

But with hope.

You are the bread

Of my heaven

The spice of my life

And for all that I am

I give thanks

To you

My honey sweet

Dream come true,

My wife.
