Listen because you want to
naturemusicpoliticstimeloveidentity
Listen because you want to
Not because the voice you hear
Is the loudest
Whisper me a truth
There are so few
I believe
Is not a fact
But it makes a slave
Of all who fail to question
Meaning
Searching is an exercise
In self discovery
But acceptance
Is also an affirmation
To be inferred
From a soul
Contented
Never judge
What is not understood
Beatitude
Comes in many guises
There is no uniform
To address
Right my wrong
Too late is not a reason
To pass on by
Consider this
Without prejudice
Wear it well
As a smile is
A warm welcome
So too is an outstretched
Hand
Clasp it
Hold a heart gently
In its beating
Lies the harmony
To bring us all together.
