December 21, 2025Poem
No matter the day,
naturemusicpoliticstimeidentity
No matter the day,
However bright,
I am still in the dark.
Even as the sun
Cracks the sky,
Sudden splinters
Painting clouds
Blood red,
Glowing embers
Spreading a
Morning’s warning,
I am still searching
For the light.
Reaching for the switch
That will bring
Me out of shadow,
And show me the truth
Of things.
Every day is a stumble
To find my feet.
Wrapped in the blind,
Groping for answers,
When questions
Allude me.
Thinking too much.
Losing momentum
As truth dawns
In slow reveals,
Showing the way
In retrospect.
Passing me by,
As the speed
Of light increases.
And in a rare moment
Of inspiration,
I rejoice.
For I am whole.
I have a voice.
And more by luck,
Than judgement,
I am in a better place
Than I have any right to be.
