Personhood

lossnaturecitytimeidentitymortality

Personhood

Dispossessed

In stages

Taken apart

Piece by piece

Melted down

Smelted into the earth

A sun dried

Sand pit

Coldly cast

Faceless

Into the unknown

Carried on the wind

High and mighty as a

Whisper

Of thunder

Distant are the hills

Behind which I lie

Too disrupted

Torn between

The living and the dead

Afraid to clamber

Out of the chamber

That has closed

Over my soul

Depressed in the plunge

A thankless plummet

From the light

Unto the dark

Barely a pin prick

Away

A hairs breadth

Separating

Hello

From goodbye.
