Relentless overtures
musicmemoryloveidentity
Relentless overtures
Demanding to be heard
Above the sound
Of discordant
Distress
Nothing disappears
Other than is hidden
Beneath
A confusion
Of wounded souls
Waiting for an opening
To be set free
Their fragile hearts
Swallow all the pain
That comes their way
Oh let them be
Oh let them be
Painful gestures
Scattered in disgust
Desperate concertos
Echoing the same songs
Heard in the cradle
We are redemption
When we rise above
The monotone
Nothing is gained
Other than is found
Beneath
A dross
Of wasteful things
Waiting without wanting
To find the key
Loneliness is
A painful truth to see
Oh let them be
Oh let them be.
