Repurpose me

lossnaturememorytimemortality

Repurpose me

Before the dream ends

Walking on water

Is momentary madness

Before the dead sea

Rises

Over splayed toes

No longer buoyant

Cold fingers with

Arthritic joints

Pull me down

Pinching blue circles

Into soft skin

The darkness

Full of monsters

Swimming in the deep

Hold back the night

For it is edged

In melancholy

Nothing is prepared

For the depth

Of its imagining

The scream

Of its intensity

Throw me a line

It is all I need

To remember

The way to redemption

Lies in following

In the wake

Of its direction

Until the tide turns

And the moon is full.
