So much to see
naturemusicpoliticstime
So much to see
But nothing to touch
Everywhere
Inside and out
Rumours of your passing
Dance on the wind
Leave footprints
In the garden
Where the wild flowers grow.
In a splintered spectrum
Between sunbeams
A glimpse of far away
Beyond the horizon
Where the sun dies
A place where the angels go
I see you
In silhouette
In light thrown
By the mystical one.
Were you more than
Just a thought
Inside a dream
A shadowed moon
Or were you my despair.
I try to find you
Even though I know
You are part of the
Mystery now
Show me the wonder
Allow me to
Rest in your arms
Safe and warm
With nothing to see
But the colours
That burst from a touch
And the song that I can hear
Inside a rainbow.
