Something we did is i there.

naturetimeloveidentity

Something we did is i there.

I burn

Feeling the heat

From inside out

A Bessemer converter

A melting pot

Of emotions

Pour into ingots

Store them away

On a pallet

Until the cooling

Solidifies the pig iron

In my soul

Carbon based

Life forms

Are a useful tool

Even the

Ashes are good

For the soil

Sketch with intimacy

A picture of life

Finger paint

Recollections of smelting

When the heart

Is poured into a mould

The die is cast

Minutes count

Structural changes occur

At a microscopic level

Atoms rearrange

Everything is changed

In a cold water plunge

Tempered emotions

Sharpened

With a keen edge

For knowledge

And in the resting

The fevered brain

Dampened

A soothing purity

In the slow down

A crucible of healing

A spontaneity

In the re-kindling

I am a high

Tensile steel blade

A blue blood

Of finer feelings

Deeply honed

Nestled in

Remnants of love

Tinder dry

As matchwood

They light the fire

Even in a deep freeze

At absolute zero

I will burn for you.
