Stay thoughtless word

losstimelovemortalitysolitude

Stay thoughtless word

Hold back sharp tongue

The cut of a knife

Slicing through soft skin

Catching the light

As it falls

Is not to be

Wished for

In any language

Sitting cross-legged

Does not Buddha make

Wisdom is not silence

A reckless journey

May lack motion

When mindless

Observance is sightless

Stillness can fall

Into the shadow

Of an archetype

Where dark demons

Dwell

So close to recognition

They hold their breath

For fear

Of letting go

There is room for more

Than caution

When a tongue slips

Its tether

Damage is eternal

Healing is a reminder

Of humanity

Not a replacement

For innocence lost

Every heart pierced

Is a transgression

Against the purity

Of intention

When what we need

Is what we want

And everything we feel

Is complimentary

To the actions

That we take

Only then

Will we make

The right decisions
