Thank goodness I am getting something right.
citypoliticslovemortality
Thank goodness I am getting something right.
Play softly
With me
There is a fragility
In strength
It splinters inside
With barely a trace
A contained explosion
Rarely witnessed
By the casual observer
Weigh your intervention
Carefully
Wait until the fingerprints
Are wiped
Of fall out
Emotions
Need a coordinated rescue
If you blunder
Blindly through an elaborate
Display
Trample simple pleasures
Breaking china tea pots
Along the way
Have a care
It does not take
A wayward bull
To dance the Paso Doble
With a heart
For it to break
An unguarded moment
A thoughtless word
A reckless charge
A shortened fuse
Might be all
The damage
It would take.
