There is a place
There is a place
Beyond the ken of mortal men
Where children play
With wild abandon
People laugh and carouse
With little fear of censure
As spirits flow
In such good harmony
There will be masquerades
And carnivals
With dancing in the streets
It will be a fiesta
Of the people
For no other reason but the freedom
It affords
There will be music
Played by troubadours
Who wander far and wide
To bring together stories
We all want to hear
Tales of brave fellows
With a taste for adventure
Saving damsels in distress
Who turn out to be
The saviours in disguise
There is a place of magic
We thankfully behold
When softly sleeping
It is outside the wit of mortal
Humankind
To find the way
Until we lift the veil
That has been drawn
Between this world of earthly virtues
And the divinity
Of the world that lies beyond
