There is beauty
naturemusictimelovemortality
There is beauty
In the view across a bay
As Palm trees sway
In a summer breeze
In the squeal of delight
As a baby spies
Its mother
Standing out from the crowd
For the first time
In the morning
As the sun breaks
The cloud haze dispersing
As long, golden fingers
Massage the sky
Turning it blue
In a lover’s eyes,
As they sparkle
In the light from a candle
Not for the last time
The whisper
Of a flight of starlings
A gentle swirl
Of murmurs
The kiss of a child
Leaving home
With a pocketful
Of dreams
For the first time
There is beauty
In every picture
A story
Waiting to be heard
A love to be revealed
A letter to be sealed
With a kiss
As if
For the first time.
