There is no stillness
losscitymusicpoliticstimesolitude
There is no stillness
Motion is perpetual
Every solid object
Is in transition
Between one thing
And another
Atoms moving too quickly
To be seen
Mean everything is
An optical illusion
Signals carried
On internal hardware
So much energy lost
In the transfer
Without fluidity
A change of state
Remains invisible
The slow decay
Barely detectable
Until the breakdown
A visible transformation
Of movement
From one direction
To another
An outside force
Located in time and place
Provoking radical change
There is no such thing
As an empty space
There is no stillness
No solid basis
For belief
In objectivity
When everything
Flows in opposing directions
And theoretically
There is no stopping
Only resistance
To moving
From one place
To the next.
