Is it the first time
He pulled the legs
Off a spider
The wings from a butterfly
Disembowelled the cat next door
Locked the baby
In a cupboard
Tied the dog to the bike rack
On the back of a car
Put live wires
Into the goldfish bowl
Kidnapped a neighbour’s daughter
Held her in the basement
Until the police were called
Is that when you know?
Shot live rounds
From a rifle
Into a schoolyard
Loaded a cannon
With live rounds
Fired it with a smile
Sharing the video
On social media.
Bombed a hospital
Into rubble
Went to war
With his allies
Used napalm
Blew up a country
Pressed the button
Took out the world
Is that when you know?
