Attendance to detail
Is futile
When small things
Which make the difference
Never remain
In the same place
Long enough
To hold on to
Step out of mind
Follow a different path
From the outset
Even when
The destination
Is the same
Every avenue
Will bring reinvention
Solar winds
Will bend
A fixed course out of shape
With too much sail
Never over canvas
Unless you can
Survive
The groan
Of constant persuasion
Presented
By an unaccountable
Progress
Toward infinity.
