Circle with me

naturecitymusicidentitymortality

Circle with me

Into the centre

The moonlight glows

Creamy white

On the dancefloor

Where the music plays

Move me away

From the periphery

The furthest reach

At the far end

Of the universe

Where shadows

Eat the disillusioned

Too many souls

Sardined against

The wall

Spinning forever

Barely able to lever

Themselves away

Centripetal force

Would be better

Than a centrifuge

Wallflowers are beautiful

When supported

Given adequate light

And watered

There is a world of difference

In a raindrop

So many stars

In the backdrop

Everyone has history

Dance with me

A slow waltz

Music for the ages

Watch as spectres

Pass beneath the glitter ball

More alive

Than Starlight

As they glide

In and out

Twinkling

A sparkle of illumination

A cerebral magic

A mysterious display

Contained

Within the margins

Of the celestial

Floating

To the music

Of the universal
