In search of a truth
Missing in action
Dreamers
Lost in the moment
Unsatisfied
Schemers crying foul
Drinking alone
Sad eyed
Strangers in lamplight
Lonely hearts
Waiting at tables
Reading messages
Porcelain rejects
With hairline cracks
Receding
As laughter lines
Wrinkle a worrier
Prematurely
Old lupines rage
Against the wind
Fighting
A lost cause
Life is an ocean
At high tide
As it ebbs
Erosion defeats
Erstwhile defence
Rinsing away
Everything
Under the sun
Eventually.
