I am but Godlike

Carried by Wood Nymphs

Rubbed gently

Against mossy banks

Following an old path

Through the dark wood

Where Naiads danced

In moonlight

There is no fear

Even as the waters tumble

Over jagged clifftops

Cascading as a trillion

Diamonds

Falling from

An unseen heaven

Splashing onto a sandbank

Scattering grains

High into the air

I do not care

As the sea reels up

To claim me

A willing sacrifice

To the gods Hypnos

And Morpheus

Let loose the flaming arrows

Set fire to the boat

Let it be

More than just a dream

Unto another world
