If only.

lossnaturetimemortality

If only.

What to do?

It never ends. Until it does.

Are we lost

Or found

A mystery

In silhouette at sunset

The shadow

In a night eclipsed

By sunrise

A star, long gone

Surviving in extant

Of the original

Its dying light

Bleeding

Into darkness

As the moon grows full

Pulling at oceans

Transforming mood

So does it wane

Are we drawn

To follow

The same cycle

In temporal revolution

Are we lost

Within the confine

Of progress

Or found

In time

To begin again.
