As it is in its absence

That truth is claimed

So cleverly,

Disguised

As an argument

Of faith

When people need

So badly to believe

You feed the fire

With the piety

Of the Kraken

What will a blind man

Make of an elephant

When allowed

To touch

But once

For how much longer

Will there be time

To realign our truths,

Share the essence

Of mutuality,

We are the bread

The wine

The eucharist divine

And have need

To come together

To survive
