It carried flowers
lossnaturemusicmemoryloveidentity
It carried flowers
Displayed as tokens
A declaration
Of love
A celebration of empathy
As lovers souls combined
A single rose
Was all it took
To remember
The love divine
A unique standing
Proudly bloomed
A red blush
Above a long slim neck
Crystal cut
Damaged now
A sad disarray
Of splinters
Glittering in strips of
Alabaster moonlight
Wilted petals
Bleeding into water spill
It fell to earth
Slipping through fingers
In aftershock
A broken vase
Once filled with love
Now an accidental
Augury of loss
