It is a bottomless pit
timemortality
It is a bottomless pit
Darkling dank
A thankless hole
Not worth the trouble
It took to dig
Too deep to climb out of
Fall into
What a tumble
That would be
Teetering on the edge
Of eternity
Oblivion is closer
To the final drop
Steeply sided
Obsidian is too hard
To crack
With no finger holds
There is no way back
No matter how hard you try
Tears you cry
The space between
Is growing wider
There is nothing
Left to use
To fill it in
It took all you were
To stop it from
Getting any bigger
Than the space
You had to give
In the first place
There is no disgrace
And no end
To this necrosis
It is not a neurosis
Eating its way out
From the inside
Unless it is sated
Its appetite fulfilled
Soon this damnable hole
Will take all
That is left of you
To be.
