That should be nice.
naturecitymusictimemortality
That should be nice.
My head grows heavier
With the passing of days
So many memories
To carry to my grave
Not enough wisdom
To lighten the load
Or find me a shortcut
Along this hard road
But if I forget
What will I become
The pictures I carry
Are faded and worn
My jacket and knapsack
Are threadbare and torn
But I need them to hold
All that reminds me
Of you
Bring me through safely
Find me the way
Let me keep walking
Into a new day
I am all that we started
Afraid to forget
Holding the future
So close to my chest
Leave a light in the window
A fire in the grate
Wait in the shadows
No matter how late
I may forget
Moments phrases or dates
But I will keep searching
Cross land, sea and shore
I may never find rainbows
But I will find your door.
