Time bends
naturememorytimemortality
Time bends
Living things age
At a different rate
If I sit here
Waiting for shadows
To dance in the dark
Will the past catch up
Long enough
For me to take your hand
Its familiarity
More than a lifeline
Perhaps we can waltz
To Strauss
An odyssey
Of timeless flight
As the universe
Resets
And we begin again
With naked eyes
Searching for
The sunrise
Of a first morning
