Turn the key
natureidentity
Turn the key
Open the door
Whatever waits within
Is surely better bathed
In blue
Washed in the scatter
Of sunlight
Where it can be exposed
As less or more
Than the sum
Of your hidden
Constituency
Fearful of falling short
Of the measure
Placed upon you
Burdened by expectation
Carried in hope of
Validation
When the truth
Of its restriction
Is revealed
Severing a connection
To self-recrimination
Locked inside
The broken child
Chambered in echo
Of a release
There will be solitary
Triumph
Unbound by shadow
Radiance
Is your achievement
Hallowed in halo
And the purity
Of its glow
Will brighten
All around you.
