Gently rides the water
lossnaturemusictimeloveidentity
Gently rides the water
Jiggling kissing stones
Settling into soft sand
Cosying up to one another
Embedded in deference
To the endless tow
Of the ocean
Small movements
In opposition
Gentle reminders
Forceful incision
Scattering familial groupings
Re-pairing strangers
Orphaned at high tide
Bonded by midnight
When stone cold hearts
Find their voice
And sing
Of lost souls
Following footprints
To the sea
Sirens sing of mourning
What is returned
Washed clean of decay
Stone polished
Simple souls piled high
One upon the other
Rubbing shoulders
Finding a groove
Fitting snugly together
Jiggling kissing stones
Swaying at ebbtide
Drying in moonlight
Lying on soft beds
Waiting to surrender
